INVITATION TO A WORKSHOP ON DATA CENTER HEAT REUSE

The Net Zero Innovation Hub for Data Centers invites Hub partners to join us for a workshop the Heat Reuse Activity Area.

Join us on 23 May 2024 in Frankfurt from 09.00 – 16.00

Location of the Workshop: NH Collection Frankfurt, Spin Tower GÜTERPLATZ 1, FRANKFURT AM MAIN D-60327

The goal of the workshop is to prepare a first list of potential “Acceleration projects*”, which will be submitted to the Hub Board for approval and execution.

(*) acceleration projects are the projects selected by the Hub Board for execution. Acceleration project fulfil the “impact criteria”, (emission reduction, economics, social),, described in the documentation.

Agenda outline:

Part 1:

• Welcome and introductions
• Update on mission and vision,
• process for management of innovation projects and building the Hub roadmap.
  • Project input card, Readiness levels, evaluation criteria.

Part 2:

• Review of inputs
  • Internal and/or external inputs for problem/solution, which can lead to an Acceleration project.
• Breakout sessions:
  • The subgroup will consolidate their inputs, evaluate and/or generate projects proposals.
    • Subgroup #1 - Operators ,
    • Subgroup #2 - Baseline & Best Practice ,
    • Subgroup #3 - Innovation
  • Sharing of the results and project proposals evaluation.

Part 3:

• Summary of the first set of projects and first draft of a Hub Roadmap on Heat Reuse
• Agree on next step.
• Wrap up the day.
