Arrangementsbeskrivelse
The Danish Data Center Industry invites all members to the next network meeting taking place Tuesday April 24, 2018 at Rittal, Delta Park 37, DK-2665 Vallensbæk Strand.
Hosted by Executive member Rittal, we will take a multi-dimensional look at the concept of Edge datacenters which this year has taken center stage worldwide. Come along to hear from specialist producer Rittal, the innovators and operators of container based edge solutions at the Technical University of Denmark and last but not least, get an insight in to what is happening “underground” in Norway at the Lefdal Mine.
Program:
10.00am Welcome by Henrik Hansen, CEO of the Danish Data Center Industry
10.10am Edge Datacenters - an introduction by Henrik Børling, Business Development Manager IT, Scandinavia, Rittal.
10.40am The Edge datacenter project at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) by Henrik Børling, Rittal with support from Esben Højrup, Machine engineer, DTU & Bent Døgelund, IT services, DTU
11.10am Short coffee break
11.25am Specialist advisor to DTU on container based solutions and heat recovery, Christian Rueløkke, Technical Manager, NIRAS.
11.55am The Lefdal mine datacenter offering and the demand driving co-location and container solutions in the Nordic market, by Mats Andersson, Chief Marketing Officer, Lefdal Mine.
12.25pm Questions & discussion
12.30pm – 1pm Lunch & Networking
